Dannowitz Anniversary Party

Boyfriend's Grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this July. They never had a wedding reception and Boyfriend's Grandmother wished she had one. As a nice gesture, Boyfriend's Father and two Aunts decided to throw a Anniversary Party/ long awaited wedding reception.

We drove about 2.5 hours to get to the Chicago suburbs for party time. Boyfriend ran a 5K earlier that day, so we were both tired. Took a pit stop at Boyfriend's Dad's house to drop off puppydog and refuel with some sugary beverages.

Who loves orange soda?

To be honest, this party was fancier than some of the weddings I've attended. Black and white with accents of red and loads of rhinestones and sparkle.

Check out the glitzy centerpieces

The favors: picture frame and Fannie May chocolate bars

It was gorgeous. Boyfriend's family really went all out. It was very touching, but no surprise that they have so much love in this family. After all it's a big family.

The whole clan

Boyfriend and I decided to dress up and go all out for this extravaganza! Seemed only fitting since there was dinner, dancing, karaoke, a few toasts [not to mention a roast], a scrapbook of memories, and tons of fun.

Open knit infinity scarf by the Limited, dress by the Limited from consignment sale, drugstore black opaque tights, black patent croc clutch by BCBG, black suede Nine West booties and floral watch from boyfriend.

Boyfriend complemented my dress in his purple Express shirt and his gin and tonic looks pretty good next to my cherry coke.

Fun times at the party can only be expressed through pictures.

Maybe Boyfriend had too much to drink

Now it's Sunday morning and the Bears were kicking butt while Boyfriend and I stop by White Castle to pic up some sliders for the drive home.

Delicious, onion-y pieces of hangover heaven

Oh and let's not forget Football! This week, one might ask me, "How's your losing streak going?" This would be my response as of the end of the afternoon games.

Pardon the inappropriate name

Thank you Bears and Texans!

You have shared great information on anniversary party. Recently, arranged my sister’s wedding anniversary party at a beautiful event space San Francisco. Invited all my family and friends and we all enjoyed this party very much.
