Road Trip Part 4

This was the low key part of the road trip. Our good friends and occasional dog sitters currently live in St Louis. Since they've lived there for the past three or four years, we've come to visit St Louis pretty often. So on our way back form Memphis we had the opportunity to hang out for the first time in a long time. Eat some burgers, watch Guardians of the Galaxy and kick back some Budweiser before heading home to Champaign-Urbana.

First time with Lion's choice, like Arby's but with better sauces

Thanks again to our friends and St Louis. Always a fun time. Now back to the CU.

Road Trip Part 3

After we left Memphis, we headed back north toward St Louis. Thanks to an app called Roadtrippers, we discovered a little gem about 100 miles south of St Louis. Safari meets farm meets petting zoo. Who woulda thought?

I love animals and I would never believe that I would feed a wildebeest by hand in the middle of rural Missouri. Life surprises you everyday. Onto St Louis!

The result

Memphis has been good to us, mostly our bellies,  but it's time to trek up North and onto more adventures. Maybe some BBQ for the road.
